Casey seems to be having a great time on her mission trip in Tennessee, based on her Facebook updates and a couple of texts she has sent me. They are fixing up a house for this lady who's kids are in foster care, and once the work is done, she and her kids can all live there together. Saturday I went to a free dog behavior workshop at the SPCA (humans only). It was pretty interesting. I think once you get the basic idea down (positive reinforcement, ignore the bad stuff, get them to do the thing you want them to do and then assign a word to it and reward) you pretty much know it, but it's good to be reminded, and I got some ( Read more... )

I'm at jury duty right now. I don't mind, I'm getting paid to hang out and play on the laptop all day, or read, or whatever. Not sure how I feel about actually serving on a jury since I've never been picked before. Could be interesting. My mom works at City Hall, so she's taking me out to lunch when we get a break.
